Google Nexus 10

Bought a Nexus 7 as a present and had a quick go over Christmas.

( The Nexus 10 was for the wife )

Think I'll invest in a Nexus 7 for myself. Again lovely bit of a kit and for the price a bit of a no brainer.

Recently got a samsung galaxy note 10.1 . Absolutely brilliant tablet, genuine iPad competitor in my opinion. The nexus is great also, a friend of mine has one and they are quality.

I've got a nexus 7 and I find it more useable than my iPad due to it being lighter and more "pocketable "
I just wish I could get a 3g model but the Mrs would seriously maim neither I did. :-/

has anybody used Google Play yet? Really loving being able to upload my music to the cloud for free (up to 20k songs, then you pay) and accessing it at the office. As a result I've cancelled my Spotify subscription

have got an OTG cable to view files from a USB stick, but found out last that that windows media files aren’t supported

Have you tried a different media player, "BS player" is a good one.

I use it and it works well enough. Can do it on an iPhone or from a PC, doesn't require android.

it is pretty funny that they just use the phrase 'retina display' and people automatically think it must be the best out there
i'm not one to bash on apple products as i do think they are great, but seriously some of the people who talk about apple products.........

Nothing to do with that but i have found that Apple in the computing sense as a whole is unbeatable.
I used Windows for years until I bought an iMac 27 inch about a year ago, and I would certainly never ever go back to Windows,
Also having an iphone too it made sense really to get an iPad !!!
I have tried in depth most of the new pads on offer in stores which most except windows surface use Android system which i find unusable andfind them no where near as good as Apple.

yeh i think i may have been a bit harsh really......i agree apple are second to none in terms of build quality and ease of use, but they fall down is price and their business practices (releasing new stuff every couple of months), which is why im moving away from their stuff as i just cant afford them
