Where's Danny these days then ? Do you remember Lee Davies ? used to work with Dan until he went on his own and they fell out, I go to his place in Crawley for my monthly inking. Danny was the man but I think Lee may just edge it now !

Screaming Eagle - I was a well'ard recruit, straightaway I got stick for it as I wasn't even airborne division. Drunk, in Woking on a day out - tattoo on my right shoulder, 'nuff said. Needless to say I never take my top off at Withdean, even though I'm gorgeous and all that

Thats soooo like me, nearly.... i got my first tattoo "Long Tall Texans double bass player cartoon" when i was drunk in Woking late 80s by a guy called Neil Lucas i think........been told he committed susicide a few years ago.

His name rings a bell, could be the same guy that scarred me for life around the same time. He had a tattoo shop on the corner of some nondescript terraced street away from the town centre "Lukes" I think it was called, no? He used to butcher loads of Paras with their compulsory cap-badge-with-battalion-number-beneath combo on the right arm, then they would go and get a numbah one haircut, tight wranglers, desert boots and maroon polo shirts all on the same day. After that they hunted in packs between Woking-Guildford-Aldershot.

It was good training running from a gang of about ten Paras after seeing my then bird home in Aldershot, helped my BFT times no end. They never caught me once.
