Trouble is, even if two supposedly crappier teams than us play each other, the points still have to get divvied up. Them's the rules. Example: Newcastle play Huddersfield today and Burnley on Tuesday. One or some or all of our rivals in the dogfight WILL get points, no matter how crap they are. At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, the only solution is for us to start putting points on the boards. Else we'll certainly be sucked down into the bottom three. In fact, looking at the PL fixture list, it seems WAY more likely than not.

This.

Squeaky bum time is upon us.

Well that went well.

A shame we are now looking at other teams to slip up.

Hardly a shame. Who wouldn't want Palace etc to lose today whatever happens.
But with 12 games to go, its still all in our own hands.

Exactly, other teams fecking up is desirable but we have to actually win games ourselves along the way, it won’t matter then if other relegation candidates get a win here or there, as long as it’s not against us!

Agreed on that. In our hands.

Agreed on that. In our hands.

And if we can’t get a good haul of points against bottom 4 teams Hudds, Cardiff and Southampton at home then we don’t deserve to be in the Prem.
