The whole naming problem of the reformed BTO is pretty farcical. the two remaining members Bachman and Turner were told they could not use Overdive in title. So they came up with BTU bachman Turner Ubited and a few others. but the plaintiff (bachmans brother said they could not use the original name, or change it, on the grounds that a new name would confuse people and affect his royalties! bit of a no-win situation for the BT part of the BTO. I could understand if the guy objecting had been named as Billy Overdrive!

I thought provided a member was from the original line up they could use the name eg The Supremes and The Drifters. At one time The Drifters were playing in Teneriffe and at the same time in England at Lakeside all due to 1 or more original members being in the line up.
