If we are going down this route, any film (or TV show for that matter) where they get on or off the train at Horsted Keynes but end up anywhere in the country.

Shirley you know, Horsted Keynes has a comprehensive service running to everywhere in the Western world? - and beyond. Wasn't Anna Karenina once spotted there?

I once told my friend he should watch Deliverance as it has a really graphic sex scene he’d enjoy.

I think I ruined the film for him

The Schools class chuffing through 1960s Yorkshire in Heartbeat is a regular offender too!

Pretty sure I saw them use an S15 in Southern livery too. Which would be wrong in at least three different ways.

My favourite of this trope was in the recent revival of the Darling Buds of May when one of the characters says something like “it’s a class 5!” and it was the sodding Q class! As if that wasn’t bad enough, there was literally a class 5 perfectly serviceable sat in the yard WHICH THEY DIDN’T USE.

Just goes to show they don't know any more about how to run a railway than the managers of Network Rail or the boards of most, if not all, of the rail franchisees! The privatisation mantra of handing over rail operations to peope who know f*** all about how to do it hasn't gone well, has it............
