My daughter was seriously assaulted on the day before her Eng Lang but turned up for the exam to prove no bastard was going to stop her. However, she was withdrawn by the school after 30mins,and has missed her necessary C by three marks. If she hadn't turned up she would have been awarded her predicted B.The bastard in qn is awaiting trial, but that doesn't help,eh?

Why wasn't she awarded the B she was predicted?

Really sorry to hear that buddy.

On the up side, there must be a rule that means she can retake, or something similiar?

She'll do just fine. Good on her to turn up, fantastic stuff.

Because she attempted the exam, wrote next to nothing, but was under starters orders when withdrawn. So zilch on the exam reduced her coursework B to an overall D.By three marks.A comma in the wrong place, perhaps.
