Right, I'm off to Denia (Costa Brava) next week after my final LPC exams and I need a couple of decent books.

I'm not much of a fiction reader, but i'd like something along the lines of Dan Brown, Simon Kernick.....easy reading with a quick pace.

Recommendations please.

I thank you.

I've just finished The Guv'nor, Lenny McLeans biopic, which was a bloody good read.
Just started Alex Higgins autobiography. Only 3 or 4 chapters in, cracking read so far.

I read 'The Book Thief' recently - well written and a page turner. The story is set in WW2 though so it might be a bit macabre for a holiday.

My dad takes great delight in sitting round the pool reading books on Hitler and the Third Reich when abroad.
Mum usually retires to the other end of the pool.

Can I recommend you take a good atlas as one of the books? Else you're likely to miss Denia by several hundred miles, on account of it being on the Costa Blanca
