As it's Norwich, it would be rude not to have something for the visitors. Roachford?

You're not obliged to come.

So, just for you...

Not exactly a floor-filler mate!

More appropriate for the erection section in a club.

For the uninitiated, that's when people try to pull around 1.50am.

Not anything to do with St James' Street.

The Lambrettas reformed a while back and have been touring, obviously without the legend that was Jez Bird.

I hope The Large One can oblige us with a couple of their old tracks. 'Dance' was my favourite as a youngster.

I may still have 'D-a-a-nce' as a 45 somewhere.

I did meet Jez Bird a few times, lovely bloke - taken from us far too early.

Back in 2010, just after they had reformed, I asked Doug Sanders wife if he would like to come on our internet radio station for an hour long special to celebrate their return. He was most obliging. It was very apparent what a humble person he was, a throughly decent bloke. The death of Jez Bird was something he found very difficult to talk about, it deeply affected him and all those who knew Jez in Sussex.

We played tracks from 'Beat Boys In The Jet Age' which, after all these years, seems a tireless piece. I love hearing their music played again, and it's clear that they have never faded in people's memories.
