All the people who moan about the whole block H thing saying you can't hear us and its full of kids , why don't you get in block H and do something about it , at least the "kids" actually try to get the atmosphere going.

Whats wrong with H-Block?

There seems to be a very anti- youth element on this board. I am not categorised into that area, however do not lump all the youngsters who attend football games into the same bracket. Surely we should be encouraging younger fans to attend, as they are the future of our fan base?

So what, they sing and say things YOU dont like. But what the hell, they are singing for the club, making noise, and getting behind the team. Id rather have a H block atmosphere in the whole ground, than the flask frinking, towel on knees, whinging noddys that get the complete arse as soon as the fella in front gets up out of his seat because Murray has just hit the crossbar.

A bit of f***ing perspective would not go a miss.

True, but yesterday was much better than normal. Still a left side / right side chant was heard though and a few people really didnt seem to like charlton which seemed rather wierd, for me at least they are very neutral/likable, not sure what all the f*** off charlton stuff was for, unwarranted and degrading to the rest of H block

I'm with you on certain fans against charlton. Why? It's bewildering to say the least. I always thought Charlton were very supportive particularly during the end of an era at the Goldstone. Am i right about this? If I'm wrong about the Goldstone etc. I'm still not going to be an anti-Charlton bloke.

They started chanting "your grounds to big for you" and that's what sparked the "f*** off Charlton" chant. It was just banter, the fans were singing together (anti-Palace) many times in the game.

TBH, i find some H block songs quiet funny.
Insulting? Yes
Going to far? Probably
Funny? Definitely.
If you don't like it come to H block and start something and stop being a useless Keyboard warrior. FFS its that simple

I have a season ticket in H block, I start and participate in (the majority) of chants.

As for that minority:

Insulting - Definately not
Funny - Never
Going to far? - Always

No. No they haven't.

That'll probably be because they haven't got a f***ing clue. And probably never will.

why do h block get so much stick? saturday they really got behind the lads made plenty of noise that i could hear in the family stand with my lad. okay some of it maybe a bit childish maybe, but without them we would be the only club out of 92 with no singing fans at home. if it was about whinging we would be in a league of our own. a mate of mine who doesnt go often went last night (season ticket going free), said he was disgusted by the moaning and constant slagging of individuals, middle section of south stand again, meant to be die hard season tickat holders apparently, they cant hear the h block coz theyre to busy moaning. let h block get on with it!
