I hate people leaving early.

ruins the atmosphere, and makes us look rubbish.

It should be banned or punished.

Question; would you leave a play early just to get home a bit early? I think not.

You did well getting home at 11. I mean, getting the 4th train which would have been at about 20 past 10, getting you into Brighton at about half 10. Walking to Hove Town Hall which at a fair pace would take about half an hour, and then a bus, with presumably a little wait, then a walk on top of that. Very impressive indeed getting home at 11.

Unless, of course, you are making it up. :moo:
11.06 didn't want to make too much of the 6 min tbo:moo:

So we can go for a pint and get a later train bus etc.

Does that mean we are saying f*** off to the kids, or getting soaked or abused by away fans is all good grounding for them?

Has anyone else thought of just getting a bike and riding to the Amex from wherever ? I have done it from the Preston Park area for most of the games(I then chuck the bike in the car and drive home to Warwickshire) Park right beside the stadium, straight off afterwards and back in town before the first buses and trains from the Amex. Simples - and before you say it, I'm over 60 ! Just stop whingeing and think around the transport problem

I left on final whistle and certainly didn't get 2nd or 3rd train probaly 4th walk from brighton station to hove town hall bus to osr then walked from there:moo: HOME AT 11PM

Laughable. Can you really blame the club if you decide to walk from Brighton Station to Hove Town Hall instead of using a bus that would get you there in a fraction of the time? Seems like most people who have more than one brain cell aren't suffering in quite the same way. Maybe you should look closer to home for the solution to this transport 'problem'.

But you're whining about getting home at 11.06, when about half of that journey time is because you decided to plod all the way back from Brighton Station to Hove Town Hall for no apparent reason.

Do you see ?

But you must have been delighted in all honesty as it gives you yet another thing to criticise the club about on nsc.

To be fair nowhere near as bad or disgusting as using a persons death as the reason, like your last attempt.

Meopham, Kent.
Personally, I think the answer is to stay back for a post-match beer. In that 30-45 mins the queues all disperse, and you probably get home about teh same time, but a lot less stressed.

It's all a bit of a experiment at the moment, but leaving before the final whistle is very much the last resort for me.

Where do you park your bike? Only cycle racks I've seen are right next to the station which looks like you'd have to join the Brighton-bound train queue to reach your bike, or push past them and get queue-jumper-accusation grief. I'm probably wrong tho eh?

3 min Train on to Hove/Aldrington/Portslade from Brighton is faster leaves your nearer to OSR & 5 mins walk from prob same bus route you got on

Loads of bike racks across from the club shop at stadium and more in the overflow car park behind. Takes me 2 minutes to get out of the ground and on my way after the match. Sorted!

Anyone who left on 85mins on Monday would have missed the final 13 minutes of the game.
