Apart from Dean Saunders, Andy Ritchie, Ian Muir, Danny Wilson and Fozzie. There aren't too many players who have left the Albion and set the world alight !!:drink:

Way out west
Mark Lawrenson springs to mind, Liverpool had a modicum of success when he played for them.

Yeah, but he never played for Brighton. Well at least not in his mind anyway.

I think it was a light sarcasm about the way Lawrenson seems to be in denial about his long Albion career.

At least he did well for us, and I saw him save us on innumerous occasions, whatever attitude he holds for us nowadays.

Maybe he was scared we might have asked him for a little support in our darkest days (continued).

John Gregory is worse, in my opinion :tosser:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

With Championship Winners Medals in 1998, 2003 and 2004.

With FA Cup Winners Medals in 1998, 2002 and 2003.

With 43 England Caps and 2 goals.

......He made his professional debut in 1984 in the Blue and White Stripes of the Albion whilst on loan from the Gooners.

....I contest that Mr Martin Keown is the most successful player to have had the honour of donning the Blue and White.

I did indeed see most of his games for us. Including what I still fondly remember as one of the best goals an Albion player ever scored at The Goldstone (vs Wolves)
