I wish, haven't played for many a year, have responsibililites now which make it seem quite selfish to chase a (or a dozen or so in my case) balls around a golf course for a few hours each weekend...

Sydney .
Tee-ing off in a couple of hours time at Kogarah with a couple of fellow Albion supporters .
The course is adjacent to Sydney Airport , but strangely there's no issue with any noisy planes .

I think its the 9th there that runs along the Wolli Creek which nearly cost my a box of balls once....irritating hole  Is Dave Gannon still the pro there?

Just about to leave to play at Rookwood. Have to say its a decent offer they have especially on a bank holiday. £25 inc an all you can eat cooked breakfast. They also have the option of doing advanced online booking for tee times. IMO Rookwood is the best value for money course in sussex.
Although if i could be a member of a course i would choose Singing Hills, bit a above my price range though!!!

The extra 9 at singing hills won't be built for years. Left the club last year and there was talk of it but that was as far as it got. And if they did start building the 4th 9 then it wouldn't be ready for another 6 years or so.

You obviously have more info than me, but was talking to one of the office staff there this week and it sounded rather sooner than that - regardless of the extra 9, thre existing three are super. They do a pretty good sausage sandwich too.

off to Pyecombe this afternoon to play a few holes and blow away the winter cobwebs, looking forward to it. Think it might still be winter tees though...even though I'll have my factor 40 on!

Love these JCL/fairweather golfers. Burgess Hill was INFESTED with them last Sunday.
If you have a 5 year old child that can only hit a ball 30 yards with a driver, DON'T TAKE THEM ON TO A GOLF COURSE!
It just holds everyone else up. Mongs.

Not playing this weekend, but have promised myself a round at Piltdown sometime this summer, followed by long, cold beer.
Love that course.

Sunday I'm playing Hassocks, and got the day off tuesday for a little trek to Chartham Park (never played it before, anyone else?). Looking forward to it, driving like an absolute tit at the moment but the quicker the greens get the happier I'll be putting so swings and roundabouts.
