I took my first visit to Falmer today and I now have a smile on my face!

Two photos that are so similar, but so different. Thought I'd share them......

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I've managed to avoid seeing pictures of the Goldstone being demolished for all this time! It still exists as far as I'm concerned.

Very arty though

Bloody good pix, never thought the sight of the sun sinking over a row of diggers would move me to words.

Just thinking...

All those diggers etc. in that big FIELD...

Would look proper nice with a football stadium built on it :ascarf:

Is there anything at all left of the old Goldstone Ground? A bit of concrete? a railing? toilet block? Haven't set foot there since its demise.

Never been so not a clue, but isn't there a spot where the center circle is somewhere?

There's no doubt various parts of it all over Brighton & Hove. I've got a seat in my garden if it helps? :p

OY that's our very own steward 433's mob you are slagging off there.

anyway how come those f***ing diggers never EVER seem to be pictured doing any f***ing digging?

The pictures were taken at about 7.30pm. :)

One thing that gets me, is as you approach the site it is certainly not at all AONB, but the pictures of the back ground almost make out that it is.
