I've really enjoyed the football in all the games I've seen this season, I'll be there as decent football (even if it is f***ed up by mistakes) is more important that scraping dull 1-0 hoofball victories. I may have to poke up with it if we end up in a relegation battle later in the season but I hope the players go out and try and play decent football even if it does go wrong..again.

Which games have you been to?

I believe that one of the reasons for Wilkins leaving as manager was because of the fall in crowds. The euphoria of Adams didn't last long & unfortunately the honeymoon period with Slade has now ended.

I predict our lowest home gate (so far) of the season this Saturday.

It is expensive to watch the Albion and the entertainment factor is dubious.

Are your plans for this saturday going to change?

There's no chance of it being the lowest attendance of the season Saturday. The family stands will be packed to the rafters as it's Legal & General day.

I support the Albion through thick and thin.

I will supporting them when the glory days finally one day return at Falmer. I will then say, yes, I was at the Oldham game and not just a fair weather fan.

Have a nice day.

Is the right answer...every day of the week, every game this club ever plays.

Pardon me but should this Churchillian retort make any difference to those who are becoming increasingly frusrtated? Doubt it makes them any less of a staunch supporter as you.

Good luck to you and enjoy your day as well.

Not to sure about that L&G has 50% less staff than it did last season

I'm going, I go when I can but not as much as I'd like. I generally enjoy the day or evening as a whole.
I don't enjoy watching us get beaten but I've been happier with the play compared to last season.

I am fitting all of the cupbards for our new kitchen this weekend so I'm afraid i am going to give this one a miss. I just hope all those who do turn up do so with the right attitude and get right behind the boys.

Lunch in Orpington? I live in Orpington and would probably not choose to
have lunch out there!

Surely not Frankie and Benny's
No, my father-in-law lives in The Avenue and we're going to lunch at his house. You're right about Orpington though, until I met my wife I thought it was supposed to be a bit, well, if not 'posh' then a bit upmarket - but the hight street is just as chavvy as as say Lancing's. There are no decent pubs (the Maxwell is the nearest to my FiL's house) and I think the Macdonalds in the hight street is one of the better 'resturants'.

You can't be that far from me..westwickham/shirley..
Oh yes, we've got friends in West Wickham that we visit as well, they live just by the rec (the one with the rugby club and the little pitch 'n' putt course). I used to live in Sanderstead as a boy so I always like to drive through there and point out my old houses and school.

What was this thread about again?
