nearly 10% not going because 360 people in uk have coronavirus and six old people with underlying health problems have died. WTF.

Went to Wolves and surprisingly I survived, even though there was no hot water in the bogs! Will be there on Saturday as usual.

Please could the club move the hand dryers in the WSU toilets next to the sinks as you have to push through the queues with wet hands to dry them.
I mentioned this to the club when the ground was first opened.
Thank you

Only 17 people on the number voted, wouldn't read too much into it. How many of them have a ticket/could go ?

Er... did you miss the bit about the (average) six-day incubation period? That is, you can carry it and unwittingly pass it onto others for six days without feeling ill.

Well if the government insist that I go to work every day in a place of 2500 people (a school), I'm not sure why I should unilaterally decide to self-isolate away from the football on Saturday on the off chance I might have it, when the other 2499 will be going about their daily business (as well as the tens of thousands attending or working in the city's other schools). Sorry if that seems selfish. And no doubt the other 28k attendees at the game have been in all sorts of busy environments themselves.

As I said, I'm not a dick, if I felt the symptoms then I'd stay away, as per the advice.

I’ll be going but from now on I won’t be licking the banisters. You can’t be too careful.

I'm not a STH and haven't bought tickets for a while - and won't be buying them until the "event" is over. The problem is the transport and the concourse, not the so much sitting in my seat in the ground. Same problem as going to a busy pub (which I won't be doing either).

You do know that in the whole of Sussex there are only 11 confirmed cases as of today? And all of them have been isolated.

360 people have tested postive. We have absolutely no clue how many people in this country actually have the virus yet, but if we follow the same pattern as Italy, then in around 2 weeks time we'll have north of 10,000 diagnosed. Even our own health minister has gone down with it.

I'll be going to the game anyway, but the glib "big deal, 350 people out of millions has it" remarks are so wide of the mark now. I don't know what you've been watching this last week or so.

Yeah, that's fair enough. Workplaces are open, schools are open, football stadiums are open. Nobody is telling you not to go. As things stand, I'm going too

What will have to change soon though is people's casual attitudes that "I won't get it" and "Even if I do, I'll be alright" - because that person can be a carrier.

Now, statistically, if you don't feel ill at the moment, you probably haven't got coronavirus so you can't spread it.

But as the infection figures rise, the risk of becoming an unwitting carrier becomes greater - and, that, I guess, is when the government starts to shut everything down.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if a shutdown happens before the weekend. Put it like this: I won't be buying my train tickets until the very last minute. Fingers crossed.

Starting to have doubts if i'm honest. I'm more worried about passing it on if i catch it to elderly family members.

Testing from tomorrow is going to be ramped up by 500%.

As a US viral disease expert said on tonights Newsnight - testing is like turning the light on. You have no idea what you are dealing with till that light gets switched on. Until then, we're all in the dark on just where and how widespread this thing really is. As Italy is finding out.
