He definately failed to catch it, seeing it live you would have seen this.

I think in this case, it is much more helpful to see a replay as opposed to seeing it live. Opinions differ though!

That is what I thought when I saw it. You see plenty of keepers doing that and I would imagine that as he had been looking upwards, he would have had little idea of who was approaching. Unfortunate and avoidable, but I don't think it makes him a bad keeper.
