Interesting look at the training. I like the deflections/ mannequin walls, about as good as one can get without a live match ��

Wonder where he is in the pecking order compared to Scherpen? Could one of them spend half a season (or half a season each) as third GK here? Not sure that Scherpen particularly impressed on loan though.

I remember watching Roberts put Sanchez through his paces at Lewes in a pre-season friendly when Big Bob was about 17. I was amazed at just how hard Roberts was smacking the ball at Sanchez from about 6 yards out, would have broken lesser men, but Bob just took it all in his stride, and stopped most things too. Must have wrists of steel.

Ben Roberts is regarded as one of the best goal keeping coaches and we are beginning to see the results. It wasn’t that long ago that we had the midfield and forwards smacking the ball as hard as they could at Kuipers before each match!
