Fewer and fewer clubs have it now as they're finally being persuaded it's a bad thing. Leicester do, of course, along with plastic clappers and the worst drummer I've ever heard.

Norwich also play horrendous goal music, QPR still make the unwanted effort, and while I've not been there for years, I'd be willing to bet a decent sum that Reading do because they're just that kind of club all over.

Well they've already introduced the grossly overused, generic cringe fest that is Freed from desire at full time so never say never...

The Leicester one was so bad it was good, very satirical.

I seem to recall Palace said they were scrapping theirs. Can't remember if they did though or whether they still dust off GAO on the occasional moments when they find the net?

Rumour has it that Chelsea has been intending to play "Praise You" as goal music for the last five months but that there's just hasn't been any opportunity to find out.
Fat Boy is holding out for a few million more before he lets them use it too

I hate all artificial stimuli when a goal is scored - goal music, bubbles (!!!) and also giant flags behind the goals when the home team scores (Arsenal)

It's akin to TV and theatre audiences being shown an "applause" or "clap" prompt. It should be purely organic.

(Oh and @PeterT totally agree re: Sweet Caroline and that even worse "so good, so good, so good" added to make it even more cringe - as the kids say these days)

Palace supporting boxer Richard Riakporhe used it as his entrance music on Saturday.

Whilst on the subject of music.......why on earth do we persist with Hey Jude as our pre-kick off tune? Irrelevant at the best of times.....but especially so when playing Liverpool. I appreciate that it has been asked before by why on earth can't we use any number of FBS tunes to fire things up. Whilst the goal music at Leicester was 100% tinpot at least they had the decency to use a couple of Kasbian tracks before kick off.

I believe they still play Sweet Caroline at the end of a game (maybe only if they win) at Vile Pork, so if you are there for the last game of the season let’s hope you don’t hear it!
