What is it with the increasing trends for Goal music - bloody awful in my opinion i like to here the roar or jeers of the crowd after a goal - Watching MOTD last night and bloody Norwich have it also have it at Huddersfield and i can imagine many other grounds, Ban the goal music at english grounds now.

As long as we don't have it (and I know we never will), who cares what other clubs do?

The only time goal music can ever, ever really be considered acceptable is on Latin American television when the commentator starts singing

I think it might actually be losing popularity (amen to that).

There are still plenty of Noddy clubs around who play it, but I've been less aware of it on MOTD & the FL Show recently. Norwich are a bloody abomination though- they reckon they're a big club with a great atmosphere and yet they put on some hideous pathetic bouncy dog every time they score. Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn etc- they're the sort of clubs you'd 100% expect to stoop to suck levels of mundanity, but I always thought Norwich would be above such Noddy-ness. Wrong.

But I bet none of those clubs asked their fans if they wanted goal music in the first place.

Ipswich did, this season, several years after they had already been using goal music. The ITFC website gave fans the option of 5 different tunes or none - and it seems that the fans voted to keep it! (The tune that we heard three times on 1 October)

But Ipswich Town? Goal Music? Unbelievable...
