Good idea. Lets get a fourth keeper into the club and wreck the confidence of both Poke and Walker. Or shall we just let Gus and his backroom staff decide rather than resorting to listening to some idiots moaning on an Internet forum.

It's the middle of July. Transfer window doesn't shut until 31st of August. Gus has already said he thinks it is unlikely that we will be signing a striker before the Portugal trip.

We bloody well need are two strikers first and a new winger (Lua Lua). However I have said ever since the end of last season that if we want to be playing Championship football come 8th august, 2011, Falmer, then we need a better keeper. I would rather have had Kuipers in goal than Brezovan or any of the others. Although there is no way I am going to slate them because of a pre-season game, overall they aren't very good.

I've seen Poke play half a dozen times and have friends who support Torquay. They suggest, and I agree, that he will do just fine once he develops an understanding with an established back 4 which is what any defence needs to do. So far we haven't had the same defence play together for more than 45 minutes or so which means there will be mistakes in communication/understanding. It's inevitable.
The real shame is that with Greer missing the start of the season we will be chopping and changing so we could really do with establishing our defensive line-up for Swindon even if it means delaying Greer bedding-in.
Still the serious work starts next week....................
