Solly has been officially credited with the second goal at Leeds, by the PL’s adjudication panel.

Excellent news. Really depends on the angle doesn’t it. There is one from behind the goal where it definitely appears he gets there to get a touch.

Watching countless replays on the screens at Elland Road after the game, I did think that there was one angle where it looked like he’d got to it. Glad he’s been given it.

Why they kept playing it over and over again is a mystery, but it kept me entertained waiting for my wife to return from the enormously long toilet queue! Perhaps they were desperate for it not to be an own goal and we’re searching for the angle that showed a touch from March.

Interesting bet wise, I'd imagine a fair few had March to score in some way during the match, will they now get paid out or do the bookies bank the cash.

Good decision all round. It was a goal, and that's all there was to it - the defender didn't want an own goal, Solly would like it accreditted to him - so get on and make it so. Everyone's happy: job's a good 'un.

It’s good news for Solly and the defender but you can’t just give goals because someone doesn’t want it and another does. It was given because Solly scored it.

Most importantly, will they update Fantasy Premier League accordingly?
unfortunately not :-( they apparently have a bizarre rule stating any alterations must be announced within 1 hour of game finishing.

Gutted, as I have March captain and Mitoma in my team who would have got the assist

I still think it was harsh that March wasn’t credited with a goal in the Leicester home game, too.

If his header is on target, it is his goal, surely.

What also irks me, is that an assist is not credited if it's an own goal. Pervis should of had about 3 more assists from his crosses being turned in by the defender. Same as Mitoma from Saturday.
