Me and the Mrs have come back for the game and pub, put up the tree (drunkenly - I’m sure it’ll look like the leaning tower of Pisa come morning) and she’s decided to put on ‘The Holiday’.

It’s got me thinking, what’s one film you can’t do the Christmas season without? For me, The Great Escape. Always a staple on Christmas Day/Boxing Day

We also always watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy over the festive period and all the Harry Potter films.

Glass of wine, some gooey cheese, crackers. Can't top it.

In recent years I've added Anna and the Apocalypse to the list.

We used to have the Christmas song World Cup on NSC. It was a regular battle between the muppets Christmas carol and the snowman. The snowman used to win. In hindsight I was in the wrong camp. Muppets Christmas Carol is way better.

But also love Polar Express.
