I'm not much of a cricket follower to be fair, but where have all these extra players been in the season so far ?

Salt has been injured since a pre season game, he was preparing to be ready for the blast.

Wiese now counts as an overseas player, so plays the white ball stuff.

Ravi Bobara is pretty much only going to play limited overs cricket.

Jordan was away in Barbados recovering from a long Covid bubble stint over the winter. He returned to England to be ready for the blast. I imagine he’ll continue to play all forms of cricket for Sussex if he isn’t called up for England duty.

Beer is available for selection for all formats, but he’s most effective in 20/20’s. He’s also the leading wicket taker for Sussex in this format.

Lenham is a 16 year old spinner. Debut tonight.

Wright and Mills missing tonight, they only play limited overs cricket these days. Rest of the squad made up of the players who featured in the championship.
