I don’t get why a family would go along to the game, sit in the brighton end and bring with them a handwritten poster asking for Hazard’s shirt. The epitome of JCL plastic.

Nice touch by Hazard though, who as a player is just on another level.

I jizzed myself over Hazard today and I’m a 32 year old Brighton fan through and through. If you can’t enjoy performances like his today then there literally is no point in you coming to football games, irrespective of alliegence. I mean Real Madrid fans applauded Ronaldinho and Messi for Barcelona... respecting the performances of opposition players when they’re incredible doesn’t make you a bad fan.

Give your head a wobble mate.

Respecting the quality of the opposition is one thing but creaming yourself over an opposing player is something else entirely.

And no I don’t enjoy seeing my team get smashed by anyone regardless of how good they are. I appreciate its all part and parcel of football - but losing still hurts.

If you enjoy seeing us get mauled on the pitch you are plastic end of.

Definition of a plastic fan - watches matches on television & never goes to a match.

Plastics don't pay good money to go to matches.

There are fair weather fans, and there are football fans, who live locally who follow other teams. I have friends who have been to the Amex, from Kent, moved to Brighton after working in Liverpool hospitals for years. They are Liverpool fans. They've been to Anfield many times, so not 'plastic'.

That's not what I go to football for. I see a talented player on the opposition and hope we smash him out of the match.

Both valid reasons. You might not like it, but that's reasonable.

What's that got to do with a kid getting a shirt? I did think it was in the away end, but he's a kid for goodness sake.

I never meant to compare this with a kid getting a Chelsea shirt, so my bad for going on a tangent.

However, I so disagree that you reckon that they are valid reasons.

In the second banning case, the guy had been a sth the ground opened, and has done the mileage for 47 years.

He has a bit of a mental disorder of which only effects him, in so much that a massive depression comes on when least expected, so can't socialise when this happens.

This was probably brought on by a mother dying and his marriage ending within the space of three months.

It was all explained by e mail and in person at The Amex.

How do I know this? Easy, it was myself.
