There have been some really nice brick built houses knocked down in the last decade, only to be replaced by some breezeblock monstrosity with slate grey roofs, windows, and driveways with a couple of dead olive or cypress trees and cheap white stained render within a couple of years

I’d far rather that and that garden.
A smallish plot in Brighton & Hove, a road and neighbours on the doorstep. £3m. Can only be the Brighton factor, plus a load of people these days hate any form of gardening.
