Classy finish. He didn’t go after the ball he just waited that split second for the ball to fall on the half volley. Class.

You just knew he’d score.
My god we will miss him when he’s gone

Imagine letting him go to your biggest rivals (eventually) and signing Christian Barnteke for £30mil and £120k a week while Murray fires your rivals into the prem and then keeps them there and bags loads of goals at the top level. Imagine.

Murray is one of those rarities in the game where in spite of his age he can still deliver incredible goals. The heel flick against Man Utd will stick with me forever it was that good.

That goal tonight was such a Glenn Murray goal too. Little flick, makes it look effortless.

I took a mate to the game tonight. First time at the Amex.

"He's not that fast, is he.." was his comment.

"He doesn't need to be" I said. "One sniff of the ball, one chance, it'll be in the back of the net. Guy's a proper Pro. A real striker.."

About a minute later, ball's in the back of the net and I'm 'smugging' for England. :lolol:

Run more than any of the other front men. March should be embarrassed.

I don't know how it's possible but he is still getting faster and fitter.

He was never as quick at withdean as he was today

four things from today's game

the goal - not sure it was a classic strike but it went in something for Ali J to consider
the AK hug - he put his arm around AK to give him a boost
the Bruno hug - just after Bruno made a mistake
a 15 yard dash in our half towards the west stand when he spotted a gap/issue late in second half, sprinting past an Albion player who had missed it.

The guy is f*cking brilliant.
