I think he was on £4.5k, Palace offered around £12k, we offered him £7.5k, he said he would stay for £9k. Bloom asked Poyet if he should pay the £9k, and Poyet said no.

Several players joined us the very same window on £6k per week or far more - CMS, Hoskins, Vicente, Buckley - CMS for example earning £11k per week. Poyet's mega mistake and Palace's gain.
