I don't care about his age if he scores that's what counts .
I'm happy if it's a loan, mainly because I had this horrible thought that Palace might have a sell on clause! The thought of giving them some of cash sent shivers down my spine.

Id be more positive TBH. The fact he went to palace from us (free agent yes) makes it a bit bitter sweet - although we'll possibly have last laugh if he signs. I've always thought he was a fantastic player. Many on here will agree they were shocked palace didn't play him more - very good striker in the prem let alone champs... IMO.
How the feck will you have the last laugh if he signs for you? It's not like we are both in for him and he's chosen you over us.
With all due respect to Glenn we have moved on to far better quality and are close to signing Christian Benteke.
You linger around more than a bad smell!
Rewriting history. It wasn't just an ok goal he scored at Elland Road. He was also leading the goal of the season votes, until Skalak scored his beauty.
The goal against Huddersfield where he cleared it out of the area to sprint down the pitch to score. If you think that is just ok, I suggest you pick some rich Premier League club, as you'll never be satisfied watching Brighton.
You know I speak the truth though
If he is a Zamora replacement then I'd say it's a small upgrade. Sound business.
So two good goals, and a few others, made him an outstanding success according to you. What did he cost us, 20-30k per week minimum? Not knocking the man, just not wearing the same Bobby tinted spectacles as you and others.
Why the hyperbole? He scored 7 goals which got us points to be in at the death even though we ultimately failed. His presence in the dressing room plus a few great goals do not make him ok. His return was a success, I didn't say outstanding.
Dont pretend you knew his wages because you don't.
Zamora, when fit, ended up as the de facto second/third choice striker, until his season ended (long before the Albion's did).If he is a Zamora replacement then I'd say it's a small upgrade. Sound business.
I find it odd that some fans are so keen to claim Zamora was a failure. It feels very odd. There's no way Zamora was on £20-30K a week and he had a good season for us. Murray may well be an upgrade on Zamora but it seems odd to put Zamora down.

Despite all my grumbling loanee Murray would be plenty good enough in that role.
But that's all reliant on a marque signing arriving to play with Tomer.
Murray and Baldock, if fit would still get plenty of opportunity along with, in an ideal world, one of the kids.
If the statement of intent signing doesn't arrive, we're screwed.
The fans aren't going to welcome him with open arms, as much as he was great for Palace I think that was down to great chemistry with Zaha. then again, even Judas felt remorse for betraying Jesus
