I would imagine Gus isn't really very much involved in contract negotiations beyond "I want this player." He's got more important things to do! I would also imagine that it doesn't come up much in training. So he may be a bit in the dark about how things are progressing - or not.

I think that is Gus just being Gus, having a laugh. Do you really think he is going to disclose contract negotiations, at a formal club event with supporters?

I think we are still a long way off something being sorted, but I don't think that is entirely accurate

Yea but we NEED tittle tattle and tbh I find the relationship between Gus and Glenn really bizarre and Gus's response as listed above just makes it more so imo. It's almost as though he doesn't really care, maybe he doesn't and has someone better lined up?

I don't think its Gus' relationship with Glenn tbh, I think its Glenn's relationship with EVERYBODY! He's a tough one to read, to be sure.
