Exactly.
Palace may finish above us, and considering the massive gap there was, they SHOULD.
However, there is a tidal shift. We are getting players back (a champions league winner) and have, potentially, signed the guy we've been waiting for all along. We are potentially getting stronger.
Palace on the other hand have had their strongest team the whole time. They will only get weaker from now or maintain where they are..
I know it's if's and but's, BUT if we had beaten them, and win at Blackburn we would have been above them. It's fine margins.
Either way we have the potential to better our first half of the season. Palace certainly don't.

With Spanish Len up front with CMS and being supplied by The Dagger the formation and tactical strategy is greatly strengthened

If/When we overtake Palace, some deluded people on this topic may have egg on there face.
Id love it is it came down to the last day and it was us and Palace fighting for the last play-off space - and we get it - id absolutely love that.
