Loved that and a great way to end my weekend (left straight after the set). Was wondering if quite a few around me even know what an SR Nova is (not that it mattered just made me laugh to myself). Always wanted to see them and never got the chance - thank you Glastonbury for that and many other other great things

Did you make it inside John Peel stage for this?
I turned up a bit late and couldn't get any further in, was planning to leave after but ended up at Arcadia until about 3am [emoji849]
The blues have set in and I can't close my eyes without hearing thumping music!

Ah only went to Arcadia on Thursday - with the heat I was wiped out in the evenings but managed to get in the middle of the tent for The Streets to finish off my weekend

The blues from it are real - nothing can replicate

Arcadia was brilliant on the Friday. Bicep played a bangin' set and then onto Carl Cox who never disappoints.

Wasn't so impressed with the tunes in the naughty corner, but great stages.

I'm wiped out now, was getting back to my tent at ridiculous hours, 7:30am Sunday morning after dancing all day Saturday! Its mental there were still tens of thousands of people still on it !

Yes watched Stormzy and then got there for just after the start of Carl Cox, hoping to see him later in the year in Ibiza

Having watched the cure concert again it is hard to see how the group could have done a better gig. Robert Smith gave a superb performance and they were all on their a game. Magical it was. If you don't like the cure fine but for a fan that was about as good as it can get

Just watching it for the third time, it gets better every time. Lovesong, Play For Today, A Forest, In Between Days (a stunning performance), etc ... what a great show. A proper gig without dancers and gimics.

I hope The Cure go on forever. :)

The 1975 are probably the worst "popular" band I have ever heard. Actually one of the worst bands I've heard full stop.

They keep winning awards and I keep thinking "am I the only person with ears?".

The most turgid, wishy washy crap. They are so bad It's almost funny. People liking them and the airplay they get, not so funny. More depressing really.

It's a sad indictment of the country when such complete w*nkness can be popular and praised.

I heard that they won Best British Band at some awards thing and just laughed.

Utter shite.

I’m not a massive fan, just can’t think of many modern acts that would suit the slot and are big enough to pull it off. Drake is another outside chance, but I don’t think they’d risk the potential backlash on the 50th anniversary.

Worked nights last night. Had the iPlayer running Glasto sets while I was tapping away at my keyboard. Loved the Idles set.

I used to watch them in The Rocket once a month or so, around summer 77 onwards. They were called Easy Cure then. Line-up was Robert Smith. Paul (later Porl and even later Paula) Thompson, Peter O'Toole, Mick Dempsey and Lol Tolhurst. Most were from St Wilfreds but Paul went to Thomas Bennett.

They also used to have a great covers band play at the Rocket regularly, (42nd Street or something) and one of the band had a huge red American car and he gave me a lift to school once or twice as he'd see me at the bus stop. Oh, cue the Cool Story Bro meme.

I guess you didn't go to St Wilfrid's then, did you go to Thomas Bennett?

Loving watching various clips on you tube.

For those that do go, a question:

Don't you get really pi**ed off with all the I am more important people sitting on someone's shoulders so they can see and F**K anyone behind them? " I know I would.:(

Anyone see anything/anyone 'smaller' that they recommend?

My two 'smaller' highlights were -

Mik Artistiks Ego Trip
Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs

Both been at Glastonbury for 10+ years so a few of you probably have seen them.
