Heilung look amazing but their music is pretty weak.
I know West Holts were already very excited about booking them last year.

I briefly walked post the Mongolian Band last year (name escapes) but they certainly seemed impressive.

Burna Boy lives just down the lane from me. I have no idea who he is either. (I think it is actually Stefflon Don's house tbf. But then I don't know who she is either).

Looking at that line up, I think I’d rather go to Victorius. They’d be less soap dodgers, no Coldplay and plenty of hotel rooms

Coldplay headlining again is cringe though.
I'm clearly woefully out of touch- apparently that's a record for headlining the festival. I just don't get them and that Chris Martin chap makes me feel queasy.

Coldplay are basically the Glastonbury house band now, and here is the thing.....people flipping love them. Their Glastonbury shows are great. I got dragged to see them in 2011 by my friends and whisper it quietly I quite enjoyed it. I have no interest in seeing them again mind but they will fill the field and give Emily a festival friendly price.

Michael Kiwanuka is amazing. He'll be well worth watching. As will Idles, Fontaines D.C, P.J Harvey and the National.

Plenty of other acts who should be pretty decent too.

Admittedly the headliners on the pyramid stage aren't exactly awe inspiring but I'm sure there's enough there without them to ensure you'll have a good time if you go. Although 355 quid a ticket does seem a little expensive.

Very disappointed by that as an armchair fan quite happy to camp in front of iPlayer most of the weekend. There doesn't seem to be much rock.

Any guitar worth looking out for in some of the smaller bands listed?

For all the hate, Coldplay will be fairly epic i suppose

I remember going to see Michael Kiwanuka at the Dome maybe five years ago and Bruno and Leroy Rosenior were there. That's all.

Squid and Yard Act are both brilliant live. Bonkers guitarist in the latter too.

To be fair it was being beaten live in real time by QOTSA headlining the Other Stage. They were UNREAL.
