Billy Eilish absolutely smashing it on the main stage, already being talked about as one of the greatest ever Glastonbury performances. The audience is absolutely lapping it up.

If anything confirms she’s shit it’s this :lolol:

Whoever thought this would transfer well to a headline Pyramid slot should be .... I dunno.... flayed. I'm trying to give it a chance but holy moly this is crud. I'm sure the Beeb presenters will be all Crodonilson though.

It’s ok but I reckon you need a band with / behind you to carry off these really big festival stages else it just looks like the lighting engineers are doing a dry run for the main act. It’s hard to create and project the energy needed to electrify a crowd that big just by yourself.

My thoughts exactly....I was actually just chuffed to see an Albion crest on a flag in the crowd at Glastonbury...

Who's that woman on BBC2 now in the pink outfit?!

I was seeing a woman this time last year who is a dead ringer for her. Plus she was utter filth. I may have to call her and see what she's up to these days.

That is St Vincent. I've just clocked that Dorian Lynskey (a music journo for decades) reckons that's probably the best gig he's seen. Will track back later on this weekend. There is a Test match to watch though, and there's a few tasks that need to be performed, but St V needs to be watched.

PS she did a cracking album with David Byrne about a decade ago

You and I disagree occasionally. This is one of those occasions.

This is a 20yo, surrounded with incredibly talented musicians and visual artists, breaking ground that is yet to be broken at Glastonbury

I agree. Beautiful understated carefully layered music.

Love it.

I'm no fan of the eilish or her music. But her set has been decent to be fair. It did get going at one stage & then after the bond song has become a bit more like I expected - boring. But she is good at what she does. Congrats to her
