Death in Vegas reminds me that Lake Mead near Las Vegas is down about 30 feet in depth and they have been finding bodies in the mud and thickness of the Lake Mead underbelly. Some of the bodies have even been linked to Chicago mobsters from the 1950's & 60's through dental records.

Well I'm 64 and highlights for me were Fontaines and Idles. Still got to catch up with Bicep though.I love them both. Brought up on 60’s and 70’s music (thanks Dad), then imho I got lucky by being a teen in the whole Synthwave thing.
Everyone, it seems, has a special passion for the music they adored at that ‘hormones all over the place’ period of their life.

PSB didn't blow Macca out of the water for me ... but that's just because it's not a genre of music that does it for me. I watched the first 3 PSB songs but then turned over. And that's the point ... it's about what we all personally like - or dislike. It doesn't mean that what we don't like is rubbish. I've given a few things a go this Glastonbury as I'm always looking to discover new things. Had never really listened to Billie Eilish before ... gave her a go ... but really really not my thing. But then I discovered a few other solo female artists that I will listen to some more.
I think all of this "what I like is better than what you like and what you like is rubbish' a little bit silly
What a fantastic weekend of music. The iPlayer is full of so much brilliant stuff. Something for everyone.
I loved watching the stuff I loved and appreciated having the chance to listen to the stuff I don’t like so much (which is very little.)

I'm 53, and enjoyed Fontaines too. You might want to check out Warmduscher if you like them.
Yesterday for me was Warmduscher, Nubya Garcia, Fontaines DC, a bit of Courtney Barnett and PSB. All good, very keen to catch up with St Vincent, and hoping the boy will talk me through the Kendrick Lamarr set.

Each to their own but for me McCartney and Diana Ross were all that I liked . I did see Robert Plant and Alisson Crouse but found it disappointing.
It may out of style to say that I only liked the oldies , but as I hear it, good music stopped around the eighties…

McCartney was amazing. Played music spanning a full 65 years, from a Quarrymen demo to recent hits. Helter Skelter boomed out like the prelude to metal and punk it was in '68.

well you and i are diametrically opposed on that issue , there is loads of excellent music around and i am glad that although i'm well into my 50's i am able to enjoy contemporary dance , house , jazz , funk , drum and bass , disco , reggae , ska and the like .....music is a huge part of my life and if i had to survive on pre 80's stuff i think i would have to end it all , quick...!!
