She usually moves me to launch something at the radio. :)

Ditto

ZZ Top are OK, not setting the world alight however given their age have worn well.

Vocals seem terrible for beardo 1 at the start

Switched off to listen to some more New Order.

Will wait for the download of New Order and hopefully Madness will be available as well.

Adele was great, not really my cup of tea but she was very impressive. White Denim were totally awesome yesterday on the West Holts - best band on the planet.

I agree with you re Adele...and boy she does have a potty mouth ...more swearing in her one act than I've heard in several glastonburys put together...as a ten year old was invited to the stage :moo:

Enjoyed New Order, thought Aurora was good. Adele is not for me, does she ever sing anything that doesn't wallow in self pity?. Fair play, it was a good set but she'd be better off selling out stadiums than being the headliner at Glasto for me.

I'm sorry to say they looked very tired. Also, what has happened to Chas Smash? Lee Thompson - the luckiest sax player in the world - was taking the Chas Smash duties.

They also have to go off half way through for a rest whilst ACDC cover plays.

I was wondering where Chas was, he holds the whole thing together.
I am very 50/50 with Madness, One Step Beyond, Madness and a few others are good songs, but yesterday i thought they were awful, never liked Suggs very much a very poor front man, but they always end with the brilliant Night Boat To Cairo which leaves you wanting more.
Also i am not against Adele, she has a great voice but more Albert Hall than Glastonbury for me it did not seem right.
Looking forward to ELO although very soon after the Radio 2 gig still worth watching again.
One of the best so far for me was St Paul & The Broken Bones, never heared of them, watched them on You Tube, OMG the lead singer was is like a white Al Green, right up my street.

just watched Last Shadow Puppets and Sigur Ros. Both excellent. The Orchestra of Syria was hard work

Jeff is not the most enthusiastic of front men but that ELO set showed a lot of these youngsters how to perform live. Very tight band, everyone can sing / play live and they all seem to be enjoying themselves.

Interesting the views on Adele here. Put it on for the Mrs last night as her music is not my thing. The girl can sing but there is also a lot of almost naïve charm in her on stage chat - certainly no prima donna pretence.

Madness were what appear to be their now normal curates egg. At times, Suggs was playing it like his excellent solo show from a couple of years ago. Other times the band seem to be just going through the motions and yet the cover of Kooks and then Night Boat to Cairo to finish was superb. Thought Squeeze were good, ZZ Top didn't seem to be interested, Muse were dull (and I do like their early stuff).

Trying to remember who was playing the spoons at one point on stage?
