Apparently Eavis puts the fact that Glasto didn't sell out yesterday down to bad weather?

BBC - Newsbeat - Music - Glastonbury tickets 'available'

Nothing to do with the fact that the best they can get to headline this year is Jay-Z, Verve and Kings of Leon then? Don't get me wrong I have nothing against any of those artists (I even went to see Verve at the o2 last year) but that really is a VERY WEAK line up.

I appreciate that there will be some more acts added but British Sea Power, Futureheads and Neail Diamond are hardly gonna get you saying 'I MUST go to Glastonbury this year' are they!

When you look at the line up for Reading/Leeds and V it's hardly surprising people aren't clambering for tickets.

Has Glastonbury had its day as the biggest music festival in the UK?

You can still get tickets. If I had registered i'd be buying one right now but hey ho.

The sound wasn't good enough last year, you couldn't get into the Lost Vagueness at times and taking 11 hours to get from car park to home just wasn't funny. It was still brilliant but I've had three wet ones in a row now and just can't be bothered. Bestival last year was better.

bought my first ticket first thing sunday morning and despite the line up and bad press i'm still very much looking forward to it. obviously if rage and radiohead were playing i'd enjoy it that little bit more but it's where all my friends are going to be and that's what makes any festival.

To be fair that is a piss poor line-up so far.

It may well get better but every year the number of festivals increases and competition is rife.

Glastonbury's reputation seems to get worse year on year whilst the price continues to increase.

I'd LOVE it in the sun but every time I've been it's been a total wash-out and whilst you make the most of it, it's just such hard work that I couldn't even be bothered this time round.

I went about 10 years ago. Payed a rasta with a ladder £10 to get in. THen in the evening done pills like they were sweets and lost my mates til about 8am. One of my worst nights out ever.

May be it not selling out this year is al the 30 somethings going all 'posh' camping and taking kids dogs etc.
