I thought that Gillespie was brought in as coach to improve our bowling.

Bowling was fine. Briggs the weakest link but still not terrible. Glamorgan were behind until a Carlson / Ingram partnership saved them. On another day one of those reckless shots gets Carlson out.

I would like to see Robinson play in the next game over Evans. Weise is good enough to bat at 6, Archer 7, Jordan 8, Robinson 9 and Briggs at 10 is still relatively strong. 6th bowling option was really missed today. Wells isn’t good enough as s 6th bowler in limited overs cricket.

No. Just a Sussex fan who lives in hope. We got done by a freakish combination of our batters getting in and then out, our unarguably stellar bowling line up underperforming a bit and a couple of exceptional innings (aided with some fortune) by our opponents. Very frustrating but the essence of sport.
