You have no choice but to sign up if you want a 1901 seat, so I can't see those that can afford the best seats in the house regretting it, maybe those that stretched themselves to do it will.

I don't think that 1901'ers will regret buying - it really isn't very expensive in the greater scheme of things and you get perfectly reasonable value for money especially if there are three or four of you so that you get car parking, the football, reasonable food, and the social experience. Every match becomes an occassion which is great.

The MASSIVE advantage of having a 1901 seat is that even if we make the Premier League and Europe (yea yeah, I know ) the price is guaranteed for the next 5 years so the people in the ordinary seats may actually be paying the same anyway in 2 years assuming the Gus Bus parks itself in the top tier of English Football. 1901 seats will be worth big bucks then imo.

We could of course be in League 2 in 5 years but that's the risk you'd have weighed up before buying into 1901

As the above poster said, if we are knocking on the door of the Premiership in 3-4 years time, then the price paid for the 1901 seats today will be superb value for money.

- and yes, they are tradeable in the meantime.

Same scheme, £500+VAT for five years then renewable at whatever rate the club set. Or £1,000+ VAT for life (50 years). But as said, compulsory purchase.

I've already been sounded out about the chances of me selling mine on (on two occasions, by different people). The chances are slim and nil so I didn't bother pursuing them but there is definately a market for them now. I would imagine that can only increase if we are successful.
