Great performance again today, fully commited. Only black mark against him was that he chased inside a couple of times leaving his flank totally open, but more than made up for it with some more crucial tackles.

I know all talks are on hold until the end of season, but I feel Whing deserves a new offer now.

When our backs are against the wall, there is one guy that fights for the cause, consistently.

I think we can ill afford to lose him.
Well said Alan.

I remember when he made his debut, our televised 3-0 loss against Blackpool.....I came on here raving about him, thinking that he would really blossom for us! Along with Tommy Fraser, my favourite in the stripes!

Very committed for us (as always) on Saturday and I think he deserves a new contract for sure. He certainly made a few mistakes positioning wise that could have easily cost us 2/3 goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half vs tranmere and his distribution was questionable (as always) throughout but hats off for those two saving tackles.

I was having a picnic in the sunshine on the downs yesterday afternoon, non other than Andy Whing walked past, he was with a nice young lady friend. I hope she is from Brighton and gives our Andy a reason to stay in Brighton, she is working wonders with him obviously at the moment

He deserves a contract, he's been the most consistent player of 2009 by far*!!

There are probably more consistent players than him, but consistently shit!

Agreed, he is surely our player of the season and has to rewarded, SOON,
if not then there is always a chance he may leave, especially as we know, and he probably knows that he could do alot better than us

Whingy for England!!!!!
