And the winner is Harry Wilsons Tackle.
Sorry for hold ups etc. Time delay, having to go to work yadda yadda.

Better late than never! Interesting that you have announced a winner on a ”give me a song” not set by you though :lolol:

I won’t argue about it as I’d likely have picked the same brilliant song

Of you go again Harry

In light of the disappearing song setter’s verdict on a winner, I am taking it on myself to try and continue this thread.

Give me a song with a town, city, village, state, county, country etc in the title

It's easily done

Glad to see this thread still going however. I'm back in with this....

Right! Thanks! You know how much I love this. During the dull bits of the ManU v Chelsea game (or vice versa) I was thinking about this....

Give me a song that reflects who you are. A tricky one, no?

Here is what I would have posted had I been asked.

I am nothing.
I'll never be anything.
I couldn't want to be something...
...I have in me all the dreams in the world.

Well, when I was running regularly I used to play "25 Miles" by Edwin Starr before I'd start a long training run and before I took part in a marathon. Then I recently found out it was somehow associated with Palarse (am I right here?) and felt a bit guilty.

Fortunately, before those running days and during and since lockdown, it's been this.

Here’s one you’ll hate Harry - singer/songwriter shit, and he plays his music without electronic aids too - pah!

About 70 when he did this too, Legend

Shows you what you know about me!

I love Neil Young. Mad as a snake. Rust never sleeps. That's a really good pick and at the moment is my favourite. I'll make the decision later today. Mrs T and I don't have the nipper for a few days so it will be off and out for an adventure today

Not chosen because of your user name H, but simply because I often think that I've become the bloke that Lord Upminster is singing about:

Oh, go on then. Since there's not been many entrants to this tricky category

Fair play H - thank you - positivity rools ok.
Okay - give me a song which showcases your best definitive sax solo - I’m not actually posting my favourite but this is certainly one of the most well known - winner chosen late Tuesday/early Wednesday

I'm assuming that this must be a 'song' and so I am ruling out loads of jazz...
This one came immediately to mind, so I'll post it.
