1.The players aren't good enough for the Championship. Sorry but they just aren't. NONE of them would have got in Readings side. Or even the Ipswich side come to that. We've got good players who've been great servants but are coming to the end of their careers in this div (Chippy, Guy) we've bought lightweights (Carole, Frutos, CKR) and we've got inexperienced young players who are still learning their trade (Lynch, El Abd, Hinsh) or have lost confidence (Hammond, Jakey)
Gwylan said:I don't get this: I don't see how we can have players no good for this division, no team spirit and no tactical awareness and yet stay in with a chance until the end of April. If all three of those were true, we'd have been relegated in February, something kept us going.
The real three reasons are of course:
1) Stanley
2) Archer
3) Bellotti

Not spending any of the cash we recieved for them on replacements.

Kent Seagull said:The FACT that we have lowest playing budget in the division and until we get Falmer it will always be the case.
The FACT that we need to sell players like Harding and our best player and highest goalscorer last season, Virgo.
The FACT that we have been with out the inspiration of Charlie Oatway for around half the season. Charlie may not be the most talented footballer, but if he'd played all season with his motivational skills on the pitch and in the dresing room, we might just have picked up a few more points.

We have a manager who has poor man management skills.
We have a Chairman who is big on words and small on deeds.
But no doubt we'll take League 1 by storm next season.
