I'm struggling to give this credence, but have heard from a Man City fan (I know, I know) that we're looking at taking a Chelsea player on in this window. Could it be Giroud? Wouldn't he go to a club in the Champions League? Newcastle papers saying that they have made enquiries, so perhaps not as far beyond the realms of possibility as we might have thought?

Anyone heard anything?

He should be able to play Potterball pretty well given his time at Arsenal. It’s a yes from me. Won’t happen though.

Why would a Man City fan have inside knowledge about Brighton signing a player from Chelsea?

Fair point. Don't normally pass this kind of thing on, but he seemed to think it was a conversation that has/had happened. Not saying more than that - I guess we have a LOT of conversations that often come to nothing.

3 Years Younger then Murray (33yrs old).

If he could do what Murray did when he was 34 & 35, we could have two seasons of many lovely Gallic goals.

Could form a great bond with Maupay too.
