I mentioned him a few days ago as he's the right profile. And today he revealed earlier that he is talking with a (non-Dutch) club.

Managed Feyenoord and won them their first league title in 17 years, while developing a lot of young players.

Plays the right kind of football and before things went not so well in Rangers, he was linked to both Arsenal and City.
He's also a calm, functioning individual which is probably what we're going with this time around.

Yup, but he had decent results with them.

Rangers is a club where its difficult to measure performance. They are substantially weaker than Celtic, yet they are really disappointed if they don't win.

But he won the cup with them and took them to the Europa League final - where they really had no business being with the squad they had. Not too shabby even though he was sacked in the end. Certainly didn't help him that all the stars aligned for Gerrard the season before.

2 points per game in both Rangers and Feyenoord over some 200 games is also dirty good despite often not being enough.
