Much as we all slag off Gilligham and Paul Scally etc it musty be remembered that through circumstances, beyond the supporters control, had it not been for them we would have gone out of the league and possibly business. They were well compensated, it must be said, in that the money we paid for rent bought Ade Akinbye who they sold for £2m, but the fact remains.

We paid for their new stand.

I also heard from somewhere that we paid 3 years rent up-front, only stayed for 2, but never recieved the difference back. Not sure if thats true or not.
