And QPR jump up to 14th place.

Was the goal a handball?

Bad news for us - hotly disputed goal.

Must win tomorrow, heard that before :p

Oh dear. A very bad result for us. Must get something out of the Preston game now.

A draw would certainly have suited us better.

Having seen the incident this morning, it looked a fairly clear hand ball.

The ref must have been feeling guily as he denied QPR a blatant penalty later on though.

Saw it on the championship this morning - Townsend set it up as a criminal decision. In slow motion not sure if it was hand or the keepers leg.
Tough call - benefit went to the striker for a change.

In the post-match interview, young Marcus did say it hit his hand.
Having said that, the ref evened things up by not giving the penalty a few minutes later ... that was a worse decision given his position.

I was expecting a better standard of officials at this level but it's failed to happen so far :nono:

If anything the refs we've had so far this season are worse. :shootself

Not just the refs though, their assistants are as bad, if not worse.

We've had 2 perfectly good goals disallowed, have conceded another 2 that were blatantly offside, been denied 2 clear cut penalties and just to add a bit of balance, the worst of the lot was when a linesman flagged one of our opponents as offside when he was put clean through ... from a back pass.

you can still be off side from back pass

Except at Millmoor two years ago when Rotherham beat us 1-0 :nono:
The linesman waved offside and the nasty ref overuled him.
