Yes yes i know, its in london, retards for fans, unbelieveable and all that. However im trying to sort out train travel to orient this evening and having never been in that direction before i dont know how to get there easiest.

Which is quicker, getting train to Victoria or London Bridge and then train/tube? And whats the latest i can leave to safely get there in time? Any genuine advice very much appreciated.

Now, where were those pitchforks?

Not sure if it's the quickest, but we are getting the 4.49 service out of brighton to victoria, then to Leyton midland road for about 6.55 for a short run to the ground.

You can get the 4.19 or 4.22 which gets you there in plenty of time, the station is only 0.7 miles away from the ground.

Sounds an awful lot slower than the tube.

Well, it's 2.00 hours.

Train to Vicky is an hour, and the tube isn't much less than an hour, is it?

London Bridge - get the Jubilee Line to Stratford - then get the Central Line one stop to Leyton - Turn right out of the tube station and walk down the main road the ground is a little way down on the left hand side (about 5 min walk). Probably need to leave at 5pm at latest as your going through London in the rush hour.

Good luck, for me its a 10 Minute walk away!!!

Yup, either that or go one stop on Northern Line to Bank, then get Central Line to Leyton.

Leyton Midland Road is a shitty little station that only runs trains about twice an hour, so be wary of using that.

BTW, the First Capital Connect this morning was f***ed up into London, so beware of problems tonight, too.

Worth a clear FIXTURES

From London Bridge

(preferred route)

Jubilee Line to Stratford

or

Central Line to Leyton

From Victoria

Victoria Line to Oxford Circus

Am I being stupid, but where do have to change to get to this little station from Victoria ?

Bloody hell! Hadn't twigged it was a 7pm KO until then - hadn't been on here for a while... Would have been sat in the pub and missed most of the 1st half...
