There seems to be confusion, or lack of knowledge, of some words and witch/which is correct.

There/their/they're are of course the common examples, but recently I have noticed people using mute instead of moot quite a lot.

I have even seen at least twice "kerching" for "Kerr-ching!"
OK, so the last two are just misspellings rather than substitute words, although I always read "opps" like "ops", meaning "operations"

Most annoying of all is the use of 'if' instead of whether. E.g. 'I don't know IF he's in', when it should be 'I don't know WHETHER he's in'. Even the bloomin' BBC do it nowadays!
