I've managed to convince myself that the Falmer decision will be announced today (no inside information at all). I'll get even more depressed if it's not.....

Zebedee said:It's absolutely disgraceful how long the ODPM are taking to decide on the Falmer application. The issues are not really that complex. One can only assume, therefore, that politics are playing a key part in the continuing delay. Hasn't this matter dragged on for long enough? Get your finger out John Boy.
Del Boy said:i know it's been asked a lot, and i'll probably get some sarcastic reply, but when is the labour conference? and if the decision has not been made by then, would it be worth organinsing a demo?
i know if it has not been announced by then i will be down there
Prescott has to get into Brighton first,if a few shitbags can stop the traffic in Finsbury park every Friday then I'm sure a couple of thousand fans can blockade the A23.The Large One said:No, it's almost certainly not politics, it's the pace at which civil servants feel like working at.
The Labour Conference is at the end of September, the week before the Tories. If there is no announcement by then, it wouldn't take much to organise a protest. We are past masters at it, and we could do it every day if we had to. There is one small problem with that - the Security Island. Protest too close, and you will probably be shot at.
