Well, Superphil, your point is well made, which is why those of us who detest those f***ing things are also quite entitled to express a negative opinion about them.

Vuvuzela are a recent invention, first given to fans in South Africa as part of a corporate marketing campaign about 10 years ago, according to a journalist in Cape Town interviewed by the Beeb during the world cup.

So, as an old school fan myself, who doesn't like the orchestration or organisation of fan culture either, what the f*** happened to standing up and SINGING?!

Definitely not a recent invention.

As a former Toronto Argonaut season ticket holder I can advise that in the mid 70s the same annoying pieces of plastic were around and used to be called bull horns. Annoying then, annoying now.

I f***ing loved that, superb. f*** off boring fuckers, f*** off football clubs, f*** off football league, f*** off FA (of course), give football back to the fans, we'll decide what we want to do, and if more of us want to make a f***ing awfull racket at football games, them you can all f*** off. Reclaim the terraces people, don't be conned by the muppets who would see our game sanitised and sterilised, football, united, shall never be defeated.

Or do you all want some of this;

Carefree, wherever you may be
We are the nouveau BHAFC
Please sit down so my wife can see
We've been coming since 2003
:albion2: indeed , love them or loathe them it's your opinion , but I would much prefer that to an utter WHINGEFEST at Withers
