Getting a new bed - anyone got any suggestions?

Whatever you do, don't scrimp, a good mattress with give you at least 10 years of service.

Good advice. It never ceases to amaze me that people are willing to pay over the odds for a car that is going to lose value as soon as you sit in it, but shirk at paying a decent sum for a bed that you will (probably) spend a third of your day in (more at the weekend).

I pissed on my last one a couple of times so my bird made me throw it out when we moved in togeather
